Kate brushes off rumours of a rift with Meghan describing her sister-in-law's pregnancy as a 'really special time' and says she is looking forward to having a cousin for Charlotte, George and Louis.
Speaking to members of the public outside Leicester University during her visit to the city with William today, Kate was asked about sister-in-law, the Duchess of Sussex's pregnancy.
Asked if she were excited for ‘Meghan and her new baby’, Kate said: ‘Yes absolutely, no it’s such a special time to have all kiddies.
She added: 'And a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis. So it will be really special.'
The Duchess of Cambridge appeared to put to bed any rumours of a rift between she and her sister-in-law during her engagement in Leicester today
She continued to say that her own children were very exited about Christmas already as they has started preparing their Christmas songs at school.
‘And Louis is getting bigger. I can’t believe he’s seven months now. He’s getting a big boy!’ she said.
