Miss Grand Nigeria Awards Best Students In Spelling Bee

No fewer than 150 secondary pupils gathered last Wednesday at the Hall of New Era secondary school in surulere,Lagos State to participate in a spelling competition organised by Miss Grand Nigeria, Princess Agunbiade.

According to her, the competition is aimed at developing the innate skills of the students in the state, creating good reading habits and helping them improve their spelling skills, their vocabulary and develop correct English usage.

Mariam Salami from Gbaja Girls Junior High School and Taiwo Akinniliba from New Era Girls Senior High School both went home with brand new laptops, school bags, shopping vouchers and customized T-shirts as they emerged as the top winners.

While their 1st runner ups Victory Orji from Stadium Junior High School and Temitope Omoniyi from Onitolo Senior High School both went home with tablets, school bags, shopping vouchers, customized T-shirts and writing materials.

The Hosts for the event Tomike Alayande and Beddie Rodrigo in their closing remark thanked the organizer and also noted that the competition will, over the years, help boost the students’ confidence, create a healthy rivalry among the students and draw out their intellectual capabilities.

To motivate,is not actually to copy and paste other people's lifestyle.

Motivation is more of gathering facts,information and actions of other people and modifying,processing and making it fit with your own life style.

Truly so many people likes to imitate others, because they want to be like them which I think is wrong. 

You may ask why?? . And the answer to your question is not far-fetched. If you agree with me,from ab initio (beginning) we were made to understand the fact that man is unique, special and in charge of is own mind.

So copying and trying to act like others,is like limiting  our uniqueness and endocapibility  of controlling and reacting to situations and other things.

Being in charge matters a lot.  It makes us feel ourselves each time we handle situations and problems. Even if we copy others,modifying ,presenting it makes you special and unique indeed.

Reasons Why We Should Motivate Ourselves.

.  motivation doubles your capabilities.

. motivation increases your standard by modifying the way you speak,act and react. 

.motivation makes you comprehend the fact that you can be good,if you keep practicing, emulating and modifying what you have emulated and not imitating.

So with this few reasons, I think motivation is one of the keys to success.If you want to be successful,you must put God first,motivate yourself and act in accordance to your plan.

   Difference between student and school dent.

 I heard  there is a difference  between a student and a school dent .
Then, i asked  what truly is the difference. Then, i got an answer from  my master.

  He said, a student, is one who allows the  school's formation to pass through he or she .why a school dent only passes through the school, without the school formation going through him.

 Then, i asked one funny question. Saying if there is no school dent in the school, would there, be student ? cause  school dent are the one who makes class lively.

My dad, bought  a lie machine detector.

 I was at my room sitting down when my dad, brought a parcel to me and said hey!!! Emmanuel, here is the gift i promised to give you because of your diligence at school.

    Then i grabbed it and said, dad you are so great, i laud your effort for always making your promise a reality. Then i went to my room with joy in my heart and went ahead to open what dad bought me.

  When i opened  it, behold i saw what i could not imagine it to be. Guess what was it . Could you believe it was a lie detecting machine. At first i was taken aback  saying what am i, to do with a lie detector machine then i thought of using it for my dad to know more of him.

 Now, my dad came from work as usual  then i decided to use  him to verify if it was real machine.

 I asked dad= dad who bought this machine   and he said=i  bought it when i was coming from london.
And the machine said lie  detected your dad rent this machine from my master his friend and promised to return it when he his dead.
