Nigerian celebrities have showcased their love for football. Some of them have visited their favourite clubs in the Premier League and chilled with their most-liked footballers.

FCNaija will be looking at these celebrities from Nigerian who have stormed the Premier League club grounds, Emirate Stadium, Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford and the likes.

06. Timi Dakolo
Die-hard Arsenal fan and a Nigerian soul singer Timi Dakolo stormed the Emirate Stadium in 2015 and was spotted with the likes of 
Santi Cazorla, Theo Walcott and Mikel Arteta who is now an assistant coach at Manchester City.



05. Davido

One of the biggest acts in the Nigerian music scene, Davido OBO, stormed Stamford Bridge in November last year, he actually watched the match that saw Chelsea beat Tottenham in 2016. OBO was later spotted in their dressing room with his countryman Victor Moses, alongside Eden Hazard,David Luiz, Diego Costa and Ceasar Azpilicueta.

Ace Nigerian comedy and avid Arsenal fan, Ayo Makun known on the comedy scene as AY left the shores of Nigeria in 2016 to watch the Arsenal match that saw The Gunners beat Stoke City to a 3-1 victory at the Emirate stadium.

In case you don’t know, Marvin Records artiste, Dr. Sid is a hardcore Manchester United fan. The ‘Over The Moon’ crooner was spotted at Old Trafford in 2012 at the ‘Theatre of Dreams’ stadium. He had the opportunity of posing with the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United coach as at the time.

The 34-year old pop singer also had the opportunity to meet Chelsea football stars such as Nigeria’s own Mikel Obi, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Nemanja Matic, Oscar, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, and others
